This is the longest running five person per team ladies league in Bowling Green. We currently have teams waiting which speaks volumes about how much the people bowling this league enjoy their league. The format includes three ten week rounds with the round winners and one wild card advancing to playoff finals. All other teams bowl playoffs to improve their position in standings. The scoring system for team points is based on two points for each team win and one point for team total to come up to seven points per night. At the end of the season a banquet is held to pay off prize money and enjoy a steak/chicken dinner together as a league. League officers are elected at this time and dates are set for fall meeting and league start up. USBC fee is included in weekly league fees.

If you want to challenge yourself and test your ability this is the league for you! The season is split in thirds with a different pattern used each third. All patterns are more demanding than the regular house shot. This will help you develop your game to a higher level of performance and ready you for tournament participation. The first person to bowl either a 300 game or 800 series will receive a bonus of $1000.00 (must bowl at least 2/3 of league schedule to receive money). In the event two people achieve this the same evening they will split the money (not likely but possible). Teams will set their lineup by low average to high average making the match play fair and competitive. All entering averages will be the bowler’s highest average during the past three seasons and if not from the Sentinel-Classic League will be adjusted by the USBC chart found on page 77 of the USBC rulebook. This league bowls 34 weeks beginning 8/25/08 with three 11 week rounds and a stepladder finals for all teams the 34th week. Very competitive and prize fund includes nearly $5,000.00 added money. Prize payoff and steak dinner follow on 35th week.

For the competitive person as well as the night out, have fun bowler. The season is split in three 10 week rounds with the final two weeks of the season being playoffs. The league is split in two divisions (based on entering team averages) to keep the competition close. $1. of the weekly league fees goes toward paying the last two weeks of bowling so each bowler only pays fees for 30 weeks. USBC fees are included in the weekly league fee. The end of season banquet/fun night includes drawings for bowling balls and other prizes of value (every bowler wins something) plus a steak dinner.
